Ahman was tough last year, but he wasn't special. Plenty of rookie RBs come in and do well. I wouldn't be shocked to see this guy approach the 2006 version of Ahman.
Yea, I edited my post, after I read it again, I saw your point.

I doubt Peterson will be as good as Green in his prime.

That said, I think Jackson looked pretty comparable to the Green of last year. I gave my observations. I think he's better at everything compared to Green but not as powerfull which is a pretty important trait.

Umm, that's a bit of a leap. But that's fine, you could be right, we'll both find out shortly.

If the line is no better than it was last year, I think Green is going to be missed becuase he did well after early contact and I think Jackson and Morency would be easier tackles.

If the line can open up holes, I think Jackson and Morency both can hit it quicker and make it through without contact where as Green would be slower through but he would probably bull thorugh some early contact.

In a decent line I think it will be a push. If the line is bad, I think we're going to miss Greens power.

both morency and jackson are shifter than green. i dont remember green juking many people out but he does get extra yards after contact. jackson is hard to tell. he lacks experience but i remember reading that he can develop into a punishing runner if he learned to lower his pads more. hes definitely not as fast as green straightline speed though.
