The highlight package on Blackmon said he was a hell of an athlete who played inconsistently.
He played 3 yrs of corner then switched to WR this year.
He's a good ST guy and was listed as qa Corner on ESPN's board.
That really 3 guys with extensive ST skills.
Hope one of 'em's good.

drafting value in the lower rounds, not a bad idea. tt is building depth at maybe two positions: db and wr, with definite return help as well.Originally posted by Scott CampbellSUNDAY, April 30, 2006, 11:06 a.m.

Packers go with versatility
With their second fourth-round choice, the 115th overall, the Packers selected Will Blackmon of Boston College. Blackmon has played both wide receiver and cornerback, and also returns kicks. Blackmon stands 6-foot-0 1/4 and weighs 198 pounds.
Blackmon played mostly wide receiver as a senior, but the Packers said they were projecting him as a cornerback.
Blackmon caught 51 passes for 763 yards, a 15.0 average, as a senior. He played corner in nickel and dime packages. Blackmon also returned 22 kickoffs for a 22.2 average and 15 punts for an 8.3 average. He returned one kickoff and one punt for touchdowns, both in his junior year. He also had eight interceptions from his freshman through his junior year, when he played cornerback.Always respect your opponent, even when you're kicking the crap outta him.

I think the Pack drafted Blackmon for DB/ST. If they intended on plugging him at WR, then I think they wouldn't have drafted Rodgers and Jennings.
I'm somewhat confused about what TT is doing, but, as always, I'm trying to be patient.

I wouldn't be shocked if we took one more WR before the day is out. I'm sure TT remembers how thin we were last season, with David Martin having to play WR. We lost two WR's in Murphy and Walker, and we've picked up 2 for sure and 1 DB/WR. Depth at a skill position at WR is never a bad thing to have...

Well, I like that. If he can make the team as a spare corner while he's a punt and/or kick returner, that would save a roster spot. He'll be competing with such monstrous talents as Jason Horton, Mike Hawkins and Patrick Dendy."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Go to packers.com and their draft page will come up. At the top of the page, click Mediacenter Video and you will get linked into the media room which had Nothing on a little while ago. They also offer the audio to the conference call with the player.Originally posted by Tarlam!Ziggy, WHAT? shit, I forgot about Vick!
Although, I be he forgot about today. Probably stoned on crack, sitting in his underwear, playing ps2 on the 100" screen. Or watching pr0n on the same.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...
