The WR's in this draft wasn't very strong according to "experts." I am not backing TT's every pick...nor am I hangin' on his juevo sack.

I think his track record in Seattle proves he is capable of finding middle and late round contributors.

Remember there will be vet cuts and waiver wire signings..with the Packers being well under the salary cap.

Good thing Ted Thompson didn't GIVE AWAY picks to move up to the third and draft a pinche punter!!!! A PUNTER IN THE THIRD ROUND!!!!! ROFL!!

I am more excited about this year than any year with Ray Rhodes or Charmin.

Right now the only pick I see that "may" contribute is Hawk and I don't think he is an upgrade over anyone we already have. TT had the chance to help the team THIS YEAR, as well as in subsequent years. Instead he is looking 2-3 years down the road and using very HIGH picks on what could arguably be considered "mediocre" at best NFL players. 1 Starter..........1, way to waste the picks...
Merlin, glad you're here! Every point of view is welcome, even POV's that sound like they could come from Tank's (Anti-Polar Bear) more polite twin brother.

Last year I ripped on Collins. That pick showed me something about TT. He is, believe it or not, smarter than I am about football. This year I think TT is acquiring picks like crazy in order to pick up athletes that can for sure bolster special teams and may learn fast enough to bring depth to DB and WR. Optimistic Realists are now available to take your call.

Orien Harris gone, he ranged between a top 2nd and bottom 6th on boards.

Yeah, when I first heard about Dumerville he seemed like a big deal. The clips I saw showed that he played really fast with a huge motor. Maybe an OLB in a 3-4 defense?

Bad combine as well; considered undersized and one dimensional.

20.5 sacks last year. Why did he drop!?
I don't know, too small maybe?
Kiper was saying it was because he got 15 sacks in the first couple games, a grand total of 1 in his last 5 games.

Hmm... ESPN said that the only reason he dropped was that he only put one sack up in his last five games. Sounds like the whole Packers team. =(.

Look for Mike Kudla in the 6th or 7th, he's the guy who benched 225 45 times at the combine.

    One report:
    Strengths:
Has outstanding strength...Tough and competitive...Very intense with a non-stop motor...Has solid speed and quickness...Powerful at the point...Versatile and can drop into coverage...Hard worker with top intangibles...Had a great senior year.

    Weaknesses:
Is undersized and lacks the height and bulk you look for...Has short arms...Didn't break into the starting lineup until about half way through his junior year...Has dealt with some injuries and durability is a concern...Probably can't get bigger.

    Notes:
Tied a Scouting Combine record with 45 reps of 225 lbs. in the bench press...Could potentially move to outside linebacker...Notched 9.5 sacks in 2005...Stock is really on the rise and he is drawing a lot of positive attention.

I said last night that he is Aaron Kampman, Jr. i'm sticking to my word!
