  • ND,

You're info was extemely accurate. Remind me to listen to every thing you say next season...

Nutz..Bretsky...Partial....everyone....Great call on Hawk..This is one of the best days I can remember as a fan..This is the best player I've ever seen GB get. I was so young when we brought in Reggie and Brett that it doesn't count.

Would have been funnier if he put traitor....
I really hope he wasn't just an idiot who can't spell "traitor"

        • Gotta run guys, check back in later. Tank, give Hawk a chance. This should be a day of celebration, not pessimism.

              • I want a WR or OG with #2. I want to trade Walker for a late #2 and take Calhoun straight up (or a WR if he's gone). I'm a homer

I'd be happy with Mangold if he falls into the 2nd round...
Forgot about Mangold, I don't think he'll drop though.
He might. Sure helps to have the 1st pick in the 2nd round! I'd be happy with Mangold or Joseph for sure..

                  • TT made a great choice. Either waywe win . I think it was a good pick, TT didn't get cute. Hawk has a football name to boot.

Let's pick up Davin Joseph in round 2. Let's trade Javon Walker for a 2nd round pick, and grab a WR with that pick or in round 3.
I'm thiking along the same lines here. What's your scoop on Joseph, Harv?

                        It's Hawk

The Green Bay Packers might not have drafted an athlete in the class of the top four picks in the draft -- Mario Williams, Reggie Bush, Vince Young and D'Brickashaw Ferguson -- but they got maybe the safest pick in the draft.

Barring injury, Hawk figures to be a solid, reliable starter for years to come. But will he be another Brian Urlacher or just another Chris Spielman? That's the key question here.

If Hawk becomes the player that Urlacher is, he could be the cornerstone of a top-ranked defense. If he's no better than a Spielman or even a Dan Morgan of Carolina, it will likely prove to be a wasted opportunity to have drafted a special athlete.

                            • Mangold or Joseph? That is the question in round two. Expect Mangold to drop.

Tamba Hali or Kiwanuka in round 2? Make a choice.

I think they'll be pretty solid next year on defense.
