go to great blue north's top prospects per position, there are plenty still available. talent level may be in question, but these are the rounds where projects should be considered.
unless you're mike sherman. then you trade up to draft projects in the first round.
lol

One other note on Rodgers, and I say this whether I'm right or wrong. I judge TT harsher than many, but he CONSTANTLY preaches "best available player".
The Rodgers selection was a "need" pick. No way in the world he was the highest rated player on Green Bay's board.

With all the guys were picking, there should be quite a few of them that don't make the final roster.

Yeah for some reason I totally overlooked Colledge on my list. Ok I feel better now.Originally posted by NutzWatson goes to Arizona. They like their Michigan guys.
Scott, Colledge is going to play guard, whether he realizes it or not. Spitz is more a center, but that means Wells will either have competition for his job, or that Wells is projecting at guard right now for the Packers.

Ready for a guy from a division 3 school from Canada?

Bretsky, what's wrong with having two of them to duke it out? Besides, you probably want two kick returners, anyway. I like this pick. Chatman was steady - he had good hands - but he never did much.
Now let's grab that Omar What's-his-name or that big receiver (Williams?) if either is there.

I'm starting to wonder if Demetrius Williams was busted for doing drugs. Many had him rated as a round two selection.....ahead of Jennings. Here we are in round 4 and he's still not selected yet.Originally posted by FritzDontBlitzok, i'm starting to wonder why we have taken two wr's who are 6'0" or less when mccarthy and tt are constantly preaching the need for taller receivers as the wco standard? unless both picks are mainly for the return game i don't see the sense in it when you still have a ton of big receivers left on the board....
Ko Simpson would have should have been a Packer IMO. A great S prospect with great speed who was a playmaker in college.

Big receivers ain't done squat since the NFL's Competition Committee tweaked the rules a couple years ago...it's been a small man's game for the most part-guys with good, low centers of gravity that can sink their hips and run good routes. Antonio Freeman was a small, slow guy and he turned out okay. Let's go with OG Matua or OG Sims from USC or OSU respectively here at 109 I say

McCarthy said there aren't many big receivers in this draft & they like guys who can run after the catch & break tackles.
