Do you think GB would have drafted anybody on our board anyways ?

I can't believe that Matua dropped this far. That was just goofy.

Either Thompson truly goes by his draft board and rankings with all of these small school prospects and sleepers, or he consistently reaches on all of his picks. Hawk and Hodge are the only two players that I didn't really think he reached on. I guess I would throw Jolly into that group as well.

I liked Colledge but I thinkers could have gotten him in the third round. But if they didn't there were still other prospects at guard that they could have taken and not have missed a beat with.

You didn't ask me, but I'll say 8.

I feel pretty good about the debth. It's not perfect but it's the best it's been since about a year after wolf left.

I think we will take an OL for the last pick. We seem to find some good ones late. Nothing like having competition for one spot!

Overall, I liked the draft, but I can't help but think we passed on some guys that I had fallen in love with. I hope we don't regret it. I see Denver drafted both Chris Kuper and Greg Eslinger while we took Tony Moll over both guys. Ugh! We took Cory Rodgers and passed on Demetrius Williams. We took Ingle Martin instead of Reggie McNeal and Bruce Gradkowski. We took Johnny Jolly when Rodrique Wright was still available.

You can't judge a draft for 3 years, but my initial grade (totally meaningless at this point) would be a B+.

Yeah, Kudla would be a nice pick, but don't expect any guys that we've heard of in the 7th round.

I hope we pick up A.J's team mate from Ohio State. Nutz dubbed him Kampy Jr, cause he's smaller, but with a huge motor.

I thought he went way higher than he should have. I don't like taking return guys early in the 4th round. Of course, I can be wrong, but Demetrius Williams, Jason Avant, Brandon Marshall were all on the board. What I really don't understand is that Thompson and McCarthy said they need big receivers, and then they went out and drafted two guys that are a little under 6' tall--when there were big receivers still on the board. Seems to go against their philosophy.

Mike Bell, RB, Arizona is still on the board. I just hope TT doesn't draft a kicker in the 7th.

Mix was a wide reciever for Auburn, and is trying to make the transition to tight end.
