Posters Game - Tailgate Party Details

How far is Miluakee from GB? Can I catch a train or bus easily from the airport? Thinking of landing there on Saturday.

If you are going to have a hard time getting to the airport to Green Bay I can swing the old windstar around and pick you up if you don't mind throwing a little octane my way, and I don't mean your ass gas either.

If your getting in real early on Saturday I probably can't help you out, but if your getting in early afternoon or around noon I can come get you.

Thinking that around 1-2 pm on Saturday is when I will get to Milwaukee if there is no delays. I would ask Partial but he aint planning on getting to GB until almost midnight and I aint gonna be hanging around the airport all day.

As for gas $$, just consider yourself lucky if I dont van-jack you.

I am very, very excited. It should be a blast! I kind of feel like going to a bar will be more fun anyway since we can then socialize throughout the game.

Are we going to meet up after the game or is everyone going their seperate ways and heading home?

I am so excited for this game, the crowd is just going to be insane. I mean, playing the Bears in a very important division game on National TV! I was going to sell my ticket to one of you who have never been to a game. F that.....I'm not missing this.

Nah. Just my grass. I got a hedge in desperate need of trimming too. Looks like I'll have to wait though. I think Partial's called dibs on you. It's too bad really, I was kind of hoping we could all read Cold Mountain before hand and discuss it on the way up.

OK.... a quick rehash on the situation......

The tailgate party on Sunday....$25 ...doors open at 3:15. It's the Fuzzy Thurston Tailgate party in the Bart Star Plaza, which is between the Resch Center and the Don Hudson Center on Armed Forces Drive. Just head towards the main doors to the Resch and you'll see it.

Please see the first page of the thread for website info, etc about the tailgate party. Just an FYI, I spoke to Bill from Titletown Tours (they do the party) and there are absolutely no carry in's to the tailgate party. no drinks, no chairs, no tables, no coolers...nada.

I can't say where exactly we will meet once inside the tailgate area.... sooo, if you haven't given me your cell number, please PM that to me. I will recognize some of you, but most are new faces, sooooo we can call/text each other on where we are. I really don't know how else to do it and am open to any ideas that guys might have.....

PIP, seems to me we should be there fairly soon after doors open to be able to find space together. If we're not allowed to bring chairs, etc in, they should have tables etc. shouldn't they???

One of my former colleagues from Oregon was at the Charger game with her husband. I just spoke with her this evening.

She is still "Coming Down" off of her "high." She vows she will go back there every year.

I am pumped to help establish an "Oregon Connection" to the Lambeau Packer games!

I say we should meet when the doors open - 3:15. I think a few are parking near my house and then we'll pile in 1 or 2 cars instead of all of us having to drive. I only live a mile from the stadium. Although for you, of course you'll be walking from your hotel!

I do plan on getting a close parking spot though. Paying isn't a big deal, especially splitting the cost with others. plus I will probably have a cooler in my car if we want to walk around instead of staying at the tailgate party the whole time. That IMO, is half the fun, just getting out and seeing everything.
