I'm changing mine. We've had some luck in Metrodome, but the scores always tend to be closer than you think. I'll go:
Green Bay 17
Minnesota 10
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
I think we will have more or less the same gameplan this week and AP will go 20 for 75 yds and we'll have more success getting after the qb and causing more havoc in general. Predicting 3 queen turnovers to just one Favre ill-advised pass. He'll still have a great game and toss 3 tds for 300 plus and make me forget how horrible my fantasy team is (Jacobs, deuce, a Johnson... Gonna get destroyed this week)
Both teams will score one opportunistic TD on defense, but MN's offense will struggle mightily against our D, while Favre and the O find the end zone 3 times.
"It's mind over matter... if you don't mind, it don't matter." - #4, Brett Favre
I was thinking that this could be an upset weak. But the more I read about the Vikings offensive problems, its hard to see how they are going to score 20 points.
Packers 24 Vikings 10
- AP breaks one for a long score. Vikes offense manages 3 points the rest of the game.
- Vikes D comes out in a nickle/dime package as we have shown we cannot run the ball yet...but given the effort to stop the pass, we finally get some decent yards rushing and keep their D off balance.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikings defense outscore their offense on any given week.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

I just listened to the Brett Favre and MM press conferences. Both of them had their eye on the prize this week. McCarthy said they by no means had this thing figured out. Brett said that once they start taking the slant away they are going to be in trouble unless they get more pieces added to the offense.
Both seemed confident and focused, yet humble. I worry that after a bunch of W's a team can get content and happy. Brett seems proned to that over his career. It's nice to see that not happening so far.
I just got a very good feeling about this game. I'm going to say 27-13 Packers.
