As we learned from Jon Kitna, God roots for whoever plays the Vikings.

    Packers - 35
    Vikings - 9

This has upset written all over it. I hate when we play in Minny. So many bad memories of our better teams losing games to them. But, you know what, there is no way in hell that shit team is going to stay with us for 60 minutes. We won't run much up the middle, but Jackson will break a few outside and end up with close to 100 yards. Jennings will put on a show, and Brett will throw two touchdowns. Sharper will intercept Favre, too little, too late.

If the Eagles ranked 7th in offense and the Giants ranked 10th can only score 13 points. Then Vikings who are ranked 26th on offense, will score half.

            Pack 23

            Vikings 10

I could see a letdown game though

I do not see a let down with the way Favre and MM are focusing. I see an improving offense, a defense that has done a really good job on some of the NFL's best offense and a good ST's unit. The Vikings have a decent defense, a bad offense and I don't know about their ST's. The only way we lose this game is by shooting ourselves in the foot and this team has done a great job of not doing that for the first 3 games.

EDIT: I see Jennings, Jones and Jackson (out of the backfield) having HUGE games with the focus on Driver.

                31-10...

                Favre to Jennings for #421...

                The pattern:

                Favre to Jennings #400
                Favre to Jennings #420

                Third time is the charm...

                Favre to Jennings #421

The point is simply though that it's going to be a tough, tough game and no walkover - by far!

I still say Packers 16 Vikings 10; we gotta win 'cos it's live on Danish national TV with one of the hosts being a jerk Vikes fan.

                  Just win baby

Packers 23-10 over the Vikings. In their 2006, 31-7 win over the Vikings, the Patriots (and their A/V man) realized that the Vikings were stout against the run, so they just game-planned against their weaknesses in coverage to exploit matchups, which they do well. It was brilliant. Hopefully we come up with the same kind of game plan.

We are taking care of the ball pretty well, and hopefully that continues. I think we can keep the momentum going, but we need to just do our thing.

                      Helping hands

Former Packers safety Darren Sharper said the Vikings are well aware that quarterback Brett Favre has a good chance of breaking an NFL record inside the Metrodome.

"Yeah, he does," Sharper said. "He's three away."

Sharper, of course, was referring to the all-time NFL interception record Favre is closing in on, not the all-time touchdown mark. Sharper picked off Favre last year for the first time in a 9-7 loss at Lambeau Field and would like nothing more than to add to Favre's career total of 275.

"The interception record? That's the only record I'm thinking about," Sharper said.

                      Run this way

In a conference call with local media, Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams wasn't shy about stating how unlikely it was he would lose out in his battle with center Scott Wells.

"Nah, I'm not worried about it," said the 6-3, 317-pound Williams, the anchor for the Vikings' No. 3-rated run defense. "He can't stop me. My main concern is on the field, I don't care who I play against. I don't think no center can stop me. We're both going to show up and find out on Sunday."

Williams dominated the Packers' offensive line last year and was a primary reason the Packers gained only 93 rushing yards in two games against the Vikings. He said the line's attempts to cut block him were fruitless.

"They really couldn't do it," Williams said. "We were getting off the ball and getting upfield (before the cut blocks were made)."
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

That was a crappy thing for Sharper to say. I hope he gets burned on Favre's 421 on Sunday!
