Jets sign Clowney from Packers' practice squad

We had three sixth round picks make the squad this year, and two of them are starters. I think "missing" on a fifth round flyer on a guy with measurables is excusable in light of that.

We've all become TT, treasuring 5th round picks like they were our Precious.

Seemed like a good kid, I hope he gets his chance in NY. He's at least a year or two away from being able to contribute.

I see it as an encouraging sign that other teams are back to picking up players off of our scrap heap.

It might be a sign that we finally have some depth, you know.

Reminds me of when Jacksonville used to have so many ex-Packers it was like Green Bay South.

Adkisson might be a good pickup.

My friend who is a student at South Carolina right now is raving about him. I guess he was a wideout and track guy. My buddy said he had a few really big games in college. He just recently made the switch to TE and gained 20 lb since college. He is 6-5.

For the record my friend also raved about Troy Williamson.
