  • My blame is on Jones. He doesn't fumble those balls and this is a blowout.

    • Very tough loss.

Game plan change at half time (question mark) . . .

      jeee.

      The team looked spent.

      Next game.

Congrats on the win Bearman, you guys didn't make nearly as many critical mistakes as we did and you executed when you needed to. I'm not happy about the outcome, but that's more because my team failed at critical junctures than anything else.

        Still, 4-1 beats 2-3.

          Urlacher's interception?
Please don't tell me you are looking for a way to pin the loss on Brett?
          Bingo!
Oh no, that can never play any part in a loss!

            agreed.
McCartney didn't have a single fumble today.

well ya, but you can't tell me they had smart strategy in second half.

Despite the 4 turnovers, the Packers had PLENTY of chances with the ball to win.
I agree, there were some definite strategy issues in the 2nd half.

But I believe a more major issue was the turnovers. They resulted directly in 10 points and we lost out on 2 more scoring opportunities. They also cost us the momentum.

            • I definately did not anticipate a 16-0 team but this was unacceptable.

4-0, national television, at home, division game, Bear rivalry...dominating the first half and they shit themselves after halftime.

A loss I can handle. The shit brand of football that came out after the half I just cannot stand.

              • Disagree, the fumbles totally changed the entire game. Teams that win the turnover battle usually win the game, very simple.

DESPITE James Jones fumbles we were ahead 20 - 10 coming into the second half. We lost this game by not kicking the ball deep, we had 330 yards in the first half and decided to change the gameplan. Someone please tell me why the hell we didn't come out at halftime and do the same damn thing?
it was the the stupid strategy of not kicking to hester. that and penalties that kept putting us on the ten yard line. how do the bears have three and out after three and out and are punting from the fifty yard line all night? MM was conservative if every facet of the game the entire second half and it killed us.

Yes......ONE bad play by ONE man always makes or breaks a game. Give me a break. Looks like MM was completely out coached by Lovie in the 2nd half.

Does this mean we will see a Retire Brett thread tomorrow?

                        • Its a game we could have won. That's what makes it hurt.

Perhaps this will be a great learning experience for the Packers and they will move on a better team for it. Thats is the only positive spin I can possibly see.

4-1 on TO hurt a lot.

                            penaltys as well.

                            Off sides.

Game plan change at half time (questionable) but at least we gained better in the first half on the ground.

                            Hey. We are 4-1.

                            • This was a team effort. Penalties and turnovers killed the team tonight.
