Thats not reviewable even if its called a touchdown with a force out. Judgement calls are not reviewable.

The whole rule is idiotic. No way you can review it and it shouldn't even be a rule. How in God's name can you tell what MIGHT have happened. It's even worse than the uncatchable ball rule.

I agree. The college rule is much better. You push a guy out, that's a good defensive play.

I think the rule is idiotic, in some circumstances, but when a player is going to come down in bounds and the defender makes a play on the receiver and not the ball, then it should be called.

Congrats Rats, the pack played just good enuff to win. Da BEARS made a hell ofa try, but a 55 yard fg with 4 seconds left beat us. That A. Peterson , RB, is a good one ! Live it up, your team is doing it.

Hey Bearman....getting to the party late. Thanks for the cudos. You guys put up a hell of a fight but Peterson sure looks like - if he can stay healthy - he will be a force to reckon with for years to come. And who would have thunk that Longwell had the leg for that length field goal? Unreal.

Still a lot of season left and no one has anything locked up. Should be a good finish for the 10-11 games left on the schedule.

My respect for you is at an all time high Bearman. You are classier than I thought. BTW, it sure makes you appreciate how good our run defense is, how we handled Peterson (after the 1st half), LT, and now Betts and Portis. Barnett made some really huge plays in run defense. How many tackles did he end up with? He was credited with 9 at half.

How about the rule states you have to get two feet down and if the defender hits your ass leaglly it has no bearing on the two feet rule?


If you get hit legally you must get your feet down.

I'm not talking about whether it should be one foot or two feet. That's another debate, and personally I'm cool with either one. However, I think the push out of bounds in the NFL is ridiculous. Not only are you punishing a good defensive play. You are putting a judgement call in the hands of the refs. And, it's another play that can't be reviewed. They'll overturn the rule--once something happens in a playoff game that costs some team.

In the NFC, if we get to the playoffs, we could get to the Superbowl. In the NFC.
