In the NFC it could be. Dallas looked good before today, but we've beaten many of the more talented teams in the NFC--Giants, Philly, and Washington. We've also beaten the Chargers. I don't care what their record is, they are damn talented."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. Not to seperate horseshit from pepper, but Dallas looked like complete ass Monday Night, they should've been beaten by 30 points.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersIn the NFC it could be. The N.F.C. title game should be a goal and no longer a dream."...one thing about me during the course of a game, I get emotional and say things my grandmother lets me know about later. But nobody wants to win on that field anymore than I do, no one." Brett Favre

No question, but we didn't exactly look like world beaters in a couple of our games. You aren't going to play well every game. The Cowboys should be 4-1, but they clearly look more balanced than any team in the NFC.Originally posted by 4and12to12and4Not to seperate horseshit from pepper, but Dallas looked like complete ass Monday Night, they should've been beaten by 30 points."There's a lot of interest in the draft. And, it's another play that can't be reviewed. They'll overturn the rule--once something happens in a playoff game that costs some team.Originally posted by cpk1994But, if they use the college rules thats a TD because you only need one foot down.
Yea, like the Viking Cards game that put the Packers in the playoffs. It was a cool scene at Lambeau but the fact is, the guy was out of bounds. I've railed against that rule long before that. I agree with the points Harvey raised.
That Viking game just illustrated how an offical in real time has to figure out if a guy MIGHT have gotten his feet in. How the F%^& can he know that?
And that wild speculation determined a playoff team.

Dallas' offense is better than average, but our defense is superior. We could beat them if we won the turnover battle. Romo would definitely throw some picks, especially being so pumped up about playing against his idol. He'd be overthrowing the ball into the stands. We would easily stop their running game. They are very beatable. I'd love to have home field on them though. The team I wouldn't want to play is ... actually they are all in the AFC, no one scares me in the NFC. I thought Philly was going to be good. By the way, my Superbowl prediction was Dallas and the Patriots. I'm assuming from comments here, the Pats are handling them pretty good."...one thing about me during the course of a game, I get emotional and say things my grandmother lets me know about later. Hey, why not! I'd shoot for that....it isn't out of the question.

I think a lot depends on where they play. Go Pats! Win this week. Lose to Indianapolis down the line.Originally posted by 4and12to12and4Dallas' offense is better than average, but our defense is superior. We could beat them if we won the turnover battle. My thoughts exactly, from this point on, any NFC team with a winning record, I'm rooting against, especially after how last year played out with the Giants.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersI think a lot depends on where they play. THen how about I put it this way: If that focrce out rule wasn't there, the Packers don't win the division in 2003 becuase Nate Poole would have been ruled out of bounds.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersI'm not talking about whether it should be one foot or two feet. My god, I just realized that we are 3-0 against the NFC East, and we beat the Chargers. So what? It's still a dumbass rule and was BEFORE that play.

I'm not sure I'm getting the point. My opinion on the rule doesn't depend on whether it's hurt or helped the Packers in the past. If a third Wild Card team was added in 1989 instead of 1990, we would have made the playoffs with a team that went 10-6. If instant replay had been in effect in 1998, Rice would have been ruled to fumble. The bottom line is that the rule is stupid, and it's a good defensive play. Period. It's just like the rule that if the "ball" crosses the goalline, it's a touchdown. It sissifies the meanest game on the planet. If you're sorry ass can't actually get in the endzone, not just the ball in the air, then you shouldn't get points. At least a knee or something for god sakes.Originally posted by cpk1994THen how about I put it this way: If that focrce out rule wasn't there, the Packers don't win the division in 2003 becuase Nate Poole would have been ruled out of bounds.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersI'm not talking about whether it should be one foot or two feet. I agree Harv, but Olsen caught a td on Bigby with one foot down and Bigby pushed him out, ruled a touchdown, I just want the same call. But I agree the game is too fast for these refs, it either should be ruled an incomplete pass, or it should be reviewed. All I hear is how the NFL wants more offense, but in this case the refs side for the defense, weird.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersI'm not talking about whether it should be one foot or two feet.
