Yeah, this is what happens when Hawk is on the weakside playing down hill. Unfortunately, what happened to Poppinga also happens. Hawk is a playmaker, but he's covering up for a weak link by playing out of position against top TE's. He's good at everything and Poppinga isnt. When you whine about him having bad games, he's acctually doing his job.

Poppinga just doesn't have the talent to be a starting caliber linebacker, but then I said the same thing about Hunter Hillenmeyer several years ago with a conference call to Mike Sherman....

Anyways all of our linebackers stepped up in the second half, you can't have a good front seven when only 4 or 5 guys are doing their job.

The only thing with Pete is he had injury issues in college but he seems like a great kid so I wish him the best on 14 Sundays a year.
