Thank God I don't bet on football. I probably would have put $100 on the Rams with opening odds at 18-1 to win the NFC. I really thought they had a decent team, and as good a chance as anyone else to win the division.
Hard to believe GB opened with the same odds as Atlanta. Even though I predicted 8-8 for the Packers, I still would have put money on GB over Atlanta at 25-1 for the NFC, 75-1 for the Super Bowl.

Some of those numbers are pretty wild.
NE at 5/9? Who the heck ever heard of a line like that, with the season not even half over? Dallas is a pretty heavy favorite as well.
Gota like those 1000-1 odds. 'bout right though.
Cleveland is one that stands out. I'd say they're playing better than expected, but maybe it's more a reflection of how well NE is playing, as opposed to how Cleveland is doing. Same with KC.
Detroit gets no respects, being ranked below Chicago. But then, why should they?--

There are too many variables to make an "Accurate" bet--injuries, momemtum, officiating calls, etc.
I am surprised to see the Packers are 1/3 chance of winning the NFC Championship game. Most people are aware the Packers have no running game, therefore, no balanced offensive attack.Comment
