edit: Let me just say this, those guys are low class scumbags, just like the packer fan I talked to after Korey Stringer dies and said "now you have to play your second stringer...ha ha ha". Actually it was on a usenet newsgroup. Trolls and assholes come in all team colors.

I agree that the national media, The Monday Night team, and the NBC Sunday night team tend to over due the Favre thing, but I am sorry, if he played for the Vikings or the Bears, those fans would be eating it just like the majority of the Packer fans do. Opposing fans are going to cheer when they bitch slap your injury prone star. Loads of flatlanders have made the trek north to Alaska from Minnesota and I know my fair share of them....all are upstanding folks and good football fans. Do they get pissed now and again at the fate of their team? Hell yes..but we can still talk football in a civil manner.
