i don't understand that. that would only put them one game up on the boys with four to play. they could blow it in those last four.

          • Just thought I'd post this postgame comment from Mike McCarthy for all the whiners:

            From the JSO article.....

"We need to do a better job of finishing games," McCarthy said. "We're up 28-3, we can learn from that experience and put the opponent away. There was some sloppiness in our play down the stretch that we can learn from."
That's why I think M3 is a much better motivator and coach than Shermy ever was: M3 never makes excuses for sloppy play or even his own curious playcalls while Shermy would never even admit there was a problem, all he'd say was "we'll get it fixed."
Always respect your opponent, even when you're kicking the crap outta him.

This is admitting there is a problem.

I dont Like the trend of loosing back to back road games when having one loss. Since thats what we have coming up the next two week @lion and @cowboys hopefully we can continue our great road performances.

                • People expected us to lose one when we went on the road at Denver and KC on a short week. Hell was the first time a team has done that.

                  I think we'll be alright

I have a hunch Collins will be the SS next year and Rouse the free. Collins is awesome near the LOS

I caught that too. They are looking dominate right now.

                          Bigby is better than Collins.

We may have seen our future safety tandem today: Bigby at Strong, Rouse as weak. Bigby is kickass in run support but terrible in coverage. Rouse looked pretty good, almost had a pick in the endzone and knocked down another pass in the flat that could have been taken to the house had he picked it off. Had to add this: Rouse's size bodes well when trying to contend with tight ends in coverage. Bigby and Collins have already proven they can't cover a TE, hopefully Rouse can.

We have played with two strong safeties on the field long enough.

                          • Nobody gives Collins any credit. He is better than Bigby. Neither are spectacular but both are solid and athletic.

                            • I have to strong view on this but to wait and see

IMO Collins is a better cover guy than Bigby. But I love how Bigby lays the hits on people as well
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I never said Collins wasn't any good, I just think Bigby is better, but neither makes a good enough free safety. If either of those guys was good enough to play the free we wouldn't have so many big games by tight ends every week. Rouse did a very good job in the Carolina game and I feel he should be allowed to compete for the free spot, let Collins and Bigby battle it out for the strong.

Because Bigby is a bigger hitter I give him the edge over Collins.
