I think we need to dig deeper.

I think there is something fundamentally wrong with the Writer/Director. Maybe something wrong with the water where he grew up; I heard they dropped the kids in his neighborhood on their heads. Most of the people who came out of his part of town ended up with acute brain damage as adults.

Hollywood is a business. Business are in business to make money, and their employees jobs depend on it. They merely produce movies that they think the public will watch. And, what must be really galling to you and conservs is that they continue to do it well. Profits continue to rise.

As I said before...I really don't care. I know they are all biased. People just get annoyed with all my pausing of the movie as I explain what is really going on in the movie. It's tedious.

No, my point is that there should not be "conservative" or "liberal" movies at all. They should just try to be an honest story.....I thought (via interviews of people in East Germany) that the movie did that. As far as the MSM, that's why I loved the movie so much. It is undeniable. The artsy, avant garde in East Germany doing anything (even dying) to get to the West.....all the while, the artsy, avant garde in the West telling us how wonderful Socialism is.

Take a good look at the first three responses, all highly defensive in tone, and note where they're coming from on the political spectrum. Then tell me who's "wasting oxygen on these debates."
