I don't see what the big problem is here. Spermicides are very handily placed right next to the condoms. When you buy a package of one, you grab a package of the other. Spermicidal coated condoms are nice, but don't help you too much if the thing breaks. If you don't think it's worth the extra $$ or extra minute it takes to use it, wander over to the next aisle and check out the price of diapers and think of the extra minutes it will take using those instead. Trust me when I tell you, it takes more than a minute. Start pricing things. Diapers, pacifiers, medicines, clothes, medical care.

As Idle put so wonderfully, children are a blessing as long as you are ready for parenthood. I said before and will say again now. You are not. You have a multitude of people here telling you this, why won't you listen? If you can't handle spermicide use with a condom, then try it with a diaphragm, spend 10 minutes in that section of the store or go with my first suggestion and get your ass to a Planned Parenthood office where they will give you samples of things to try for free and give you discounts on the method you choose according to your ability to pay for them. If not planned parenthood, go to the clinic at your university. Keep that $250,000 in mind (and that is providing the baby is born healthy--no guarantees there either). This is way too important to blow off. No, pulling out and using a condom is not near 100%. It's a whole lot more fun to protect yourself properly and finish what you started.

Finish college, start a career, get situated, make sure this guy is the real deal (cut him off for a few weeks and you'll find out quickly what part of you he loves most) and then you can get a little lax in your birth control.

Naivete isn't the word I would use. Willful disregard and ignorance are better suited to the circumstances. She says she's 18, not 13. We were all dumb and boneheaded at 18, but in this day and age, there's no excuse for not knowing how to keep oneself from getting pregnant at that age.

I never took issue with Ziggy's points about birth control, in fact never expressed an opinion anywhere on birth control.

I did disagree with her opinion that posting a personal picture is dangerous. I think the risk of getting struck by lightening while golfing is greater.

I never argue a point I don't believe in, I doubt you could dig-up a single example of insincerity on my part. You may perceive that I argue to cause trouble because of the topics I choose to engage in.
