              So how warm does a wall have to be to paint it. I swear because the heat is paid here, no one has insulated a wall since the place was built in the 60s...

                  Good question. The wall temperature is more important than the air temperature. If you can find a way to get an accurate measure, my guess is that most paints would have a hard time drying properly if the surface temperature isn't at least greater than 50 degrees. Use the 1-800 # on the paint can if you are really a careful person and want accurate information. Otherwise slap on a test patch and see if it has dried in a couple of hours. If you are not a careful person throw a Jose Cuervo painting party and invite the local Tau Kappa Epsilon chapter to grab a red plastic cup and a brush and if it shticks it shticks. Woo hoo.

                    It's supposed to hit 50 degrees next weekend so I may just wait 'til then to do that one wall and get the rest of the room done. Thanks for the advice.
