Go see Parc Guell. It's an amazing view of the city and also has some great architecture. Take a walk down the Rambla in the evening. Check out the modernist architecture (especially Gaudi's wild, hallucinatory buildings) during the daytime. Don't miss the cathedral. And eat lots of paella, and drink lots of wine.

You're not serious of course.....there are so many great things to experience in Spain it's not even funny. Is it a business trip that you can add a little time to look around or will you have lots of time available?

But here's a tip that I learned along the way. When the doc tells you you have to be able to lift your leg, you have to re-remember to flex the quads or you won't be able to do it and you'll have to stay in the hospital an extra day. Enjoy the surgery and rehab.
There are two schools of thought. I've seen a lot of information on both. Their are significant studies that going to parallel and coming up is actually worse because all the stress is on the knee. Going past parallel shifts a lot of the force onto the hips.

One could make a really compelling argument that its worse to squat just above parallel, then it is to squat below. Go to a gym, and most people don't come anywhere near parallel. Those are the guys destroying their knees, not the olympic lifters who are sticklers about form.

You strike me as the bullfighting type.

I told you I'm not going to argue with you. They're your knees feel free to fuck 'em up. You need to lose the weight FIRST. Then worry about debating things that could mess up your joints.

                  • Damnit! I was in the process of flipping a Dell mini for 87 bucks in profit, and it turns out the SSD in the machine has a destroyed screw head, so I can't get it out. I've tried everything, needle nose pliers, tweezers, torx, etc.

DAMNIT!! If I have to ship this back to dell I might miss the market as the premiere SSD is becoming readily available again.

I'm debating whether I want to tell Dell to keep it
