they've got a little man made canal in the middle of the city, we rented bikes and rode along it for several hours. Got a very nice room, at a reasonable rate (Hilton, I think), off of Hotwire, and then there is always the Museum of Art... Throw in a spendy little dinner at Ruth's Chris which is right downtown, and you've got a nice weekend, but you probably need to wait a month or so for it to warm up....Comment

Cheap to be in or cheap to get to? Unless your destination is Mexico, the two may be mutually exclusive. But Baja California is always nice. And if you go via LA you might be able to catch the Mojave desert in bloom. Or maybe the Sonora would be worth it. Just watch out for the drug violence.Originally posted by MJZiggyComment

What are you skiing on these days Howard? I'm buying two new pairs this spring while things are on sale...one set of powder boards and then an all mountain (big) set. I normally buy a set of GS/Super G boards but will change it up a bit this time around. I love speed but just can't deal with the heavier snow on racing skis anymore. PHILADELPHIA -- A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say he intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands during a Philadelphia Phillies game.
Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Clemmens, of Cherry Hill, N.J., was arraigned Friday on charges stemming from his behavior at Wednesday night's Phillies-Nationals game.
Police say Clemmens made himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his daughter after a companion was kicked out for unruly behavior.
Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo says he saw Clemmens put his fingers down his throat. Philadelphia police say Clemmens also punched Vangelo and vomited on an arresting officer.
Clemmens is in custody on charges including assault and harassment. Bail is $12,000. His listed phone number is disconnected."You're all very smart, and I'm very dumb." - PartialComment
