DAYUM! I travel quite a bit and end up renting cars all over the place and have always been shocked at some of the concession taxes you end up having to pay.....the bar has been raised by the taxes at the Lihue airport on Kauai!

My kid won the Einstein Award at the science fair for his laser project. In order to get the thing right, they had to apply the Pythagorean Theorem and create a couple function tables. He's officially out-mathed me.

My boy found out tonight he made the Freshman baseball team....as an 8th grader! They started out with 74 kids trying out and he is one of 36 (2 teams). So proud of him! He worked so hard this past off season...3-4x a week since Dec. at the indoor baseball academy.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for kids playing sports...lol My daughter got an extra nice set of golf clubs too and made Varsity her freshman year. hehe

I'm on board with 007; bats are priced the way they are for a reason. The difference between a mid tier bat and a upper end bat pricewise is due to the quality.

Worthless. I do ten flat miles on the bike yesterday and today I get taken out by the first hill I hit and am walking the bike for 5 minutes. It was about a 3 mile ride. Tops. I feel so wussy.
