Saturday is the big day - hosting my first graduation party - for my daughter!
I'm surprised I'm not freaking out a bit....that might happen tomorrow. I'm so happy I made the Italian beef ahead of time and froze it. Tomorrow I get to have the whole day to myself preparing the rest of the food for the 70-90 guests. Put on some old music and get the kitchen rockin! lol

One down.......yeah, lets not talk about that!! lol I will be going through major depression when my second, and last, flies the coop. This one was tough enough. My daughter and I have always been extremely close. Lots of tears have fallen the last month behind closed doors.Comment

You know those photo booths they are doing at a lot of weddings now? I checked into the price of one of those for my daughter's graduation party......$600
So we decided to do our own and it was a big hit at her party! .....for a hell of a lot less $. We set up a backdrop, she got lots of props...funny glasses, hats, feather boas, etc. We put a camera on a tripod and all the kids had a lot of fun with it....and many of the adults too! I have an awesome new family pic with my siblings! She's going to get double prints made and give one set to her friends and use the other for her graduation scrapbook.
