You're poorly produced.
There's a scene or two here and there where Asylum F's low budget D film past is identifiable, but for the most part, it's just as well acted and shot as most shows these days. More importantly, the script is actually fun, willing to toss characters into the fire and have their emotional moments while still mostly keeping it's humor about it. I also appreciate that essentially each episode skips hundreds of miles of traveling and instead covers a specific episodic situation where they happen to be. Not like Walking Dead, where they spend an entire season at the farm, or 3 weeks walking from one place to another. They keep it moving and don't linger on deaths or whatever.
The other thing is that the other people they encounter are almost always fleshed out, even the ones who never talk through wardrobe and makeup, to the point that you wonder if just about any character you see could become a part of their group or be an interesting foe."You're all very smart, and I'm very dumb." - Partial
