I have to say that if Brett Favre really expects to be able to play somewhere else this season simply because he wants to, he's down there with the Chad Johnsons and Terrell Owens of the world. The man is under contract, and barring the possibility that he and his agent figure out a way to get significant contribution for him (at least a first day pick and a player), he's a Packer or he doesn't play.

Contracts don't go away because you want them to.

Bretsky is down with that because Bretsky thinks if Favre is in Green Bay he will start
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

stuff 2: Favre is too proud to play for a team that is indifferent to him.

stuff 3: The team isn't going to release Favre

stuff 4: Favre is not going to sit home and watch TV this fall, this is his last chance to play and he's made the plunge.

                  sounds like a trade
I don't think Favre really wants a trade just to play; Brett would have to learn yet another system/play book? Get outta here! MJ did it though but that's BB

So, skin man if we follow your thinking, we should be kicking the shit out of any team that doesn't require their players to work out prior to opening day. Are any of those teams on our schedule this year?

The SkinBasket apologizes. We did not have the proper time to read through the thousands of Favrian posts as the SkinBasket has been painting.

The Sharpe thinks the Favre should listen to the Favre's comments about the Javon Walker and then honor the Favre's contract.

PackerTimer thinks this is funny. How quickly people forget their own words. Although the slight difference is that PackerTimer thinks Favre might actually believe he's done whats best for the Packers. Mort was on EPSN the other day, it sounded like Favre claims to be understanding of the situation he has now put the Packers in and thinks they should move on. The only way to do that is to let him go. In Favres eyes he's doing whats best for the team where JWALK was trying to get more money.

                              This:

For better or worse, he cannot do that in Green Bay. Favre needs to play somewhere else like a successful man in a mid life crisis who married the first woman who fucked him needs to hump a hooker.

What team doesnt require a preseason workout? We need to play that team.

The Sharpe thinks it is funny if the Favre would think the Favre knows what is best for the Packers. If so, the Sharpe thinks maybe the Favre should apply for the GM position and the headcoach position.

The Sharpe can't see how an outright release instead of a trade (or coming back to play for GB) is good for anyone by the Favre and the Cook. The Sharpe thinks the outright release request shows the Favre is concerned about the Favre first.
