    If true, that'd be great.

Then again, I'm less worried about our D-line today than yesterday. According to JSO, defense won the one-on-one drills today 15-6-1. KGB even pulled a nifty move and got around Clifton.

It seems we might have more depth there than we had thought.

I screwed that up.. its my "Friends Dad''... he is getting to be on the sidelines next week during one of the practices... lucky bastard, I am going down the same time and I am pleading with him to hook me up so we'll see how that works

I'm sure, he probably did the crap that Favre is doing now and threatened to publically demand a trade. TT, knowing he invested 3 years and a first round pick and has probably a year or two of Favre left, said screw it lets go with the Kid and see what he can do.

GBM has heard from A-Rod that he'd demand a trade this year if he wasn't starting.
You know, you must be right, it makes perfect sense. TT is gettiing bullied by rodgers, but is holding his ground against favre...it makes so much sense to me now. After hearing this I'm behind arod all the way....if he can do this much better job of controlling TT he is bound to be a hall of famer.

I was at camp yesterday, so I'll fill in a couple things.

#1 - ALL of our QB's looked shaky yesterday, with Rodgers being the best of the group without question. The reason they were shaky...the defense looks REALLY good.

#2 - Tory Humphrey looked really good...BUT, if they were hitting, Humphrey would be on the DL, cause Brohm was hanging him out to dry all day. Bigby had to drop to a knee one time because he would have lit the crap out of him on a seem route if he hadn't.

#3 - Kampmann is here to work

#4 - Rodgers has great command of the team. You could see his leadership among all the guys.

#5 - All of the coaches were keeping tempo, and doing lots of yelling yesterday. You could hear all of them at many times, especially McCarthy.

#6 - All of the 'BRINGBACKBRETT' signs are dumb. I heard Tauscher making fun of all the people who had them. Also heard Chuck Woodson say "are those people here to cheer for us, or just for him".

#7 - I got interviewed by NBC 26 yesterday, for the only reason that I was that guy wearing a Rodgers jersey on purpose.

#8 - I FINALLY got my custom made black Under Armour helmet signed by AJ Hawk.

As a former OL guy in college, I gotta tell you those 1 on 1 drills are crap, and designed for the defense to win.

And just so every knows also, our "starting OL" guys, they were 4-1-1 in 1on1 drills. backups were 2-14. (we counted as well)

Who was in your group of starters, Colledge or Barbre, or did you include both for the total of 6? What did you think of the competition between the two?

Barbre, because he was with the 1's all day yesterday.

I'm excited for that competition. I've liked Barbre since his draft, he was high on my board for lineman....I've also liked Colledge, just don't think he's a guard.

                How did Sitton look?

I have a feeling in about two years the center of the line might be Barbre-Spitz-Sitton, but of course Sitton is still a real guess at this point.

Sitton got worked most of the day. Our backups looked like backups. Our top 6 really stood out. our next "best" that stood out was Giacomini, and he was eh at best. Scott Wells looks really good. He went against Cole & Muir in team time, neither did anything. Not that they are our best DT's, but they're all we got right now. People don't seem to know or recognize that Wells was our top lineman last year. I read that on the season he scored a 98% (OL have a scoring grade), Clifton, our Pro Bowler, scored a 95%.

I am a Wells fan actually, always have been, but even the coaches have now admitted that with Wells they are limited because of his size (which I think is a lot smaller than the roster indicates). Campen (I think) said in an article a couple weeks ago that they now realize that Wells can not be asked to handle big DTs without help, and they are making adjustments this year because of it.

Apparently, in the couple games he played, Spitz impressed them all at center. When he was drafted, most said center is where he would eventually end up. If two other guards really catch on in a couple years, I think Spitz could end up at center, giving them a big, tough middle of the line with a bit of attitude.

Do not forget "Orange" Junius Coston. This is the year, Patler! He's matured, gotten stronger and smarter - the next Earl Dotson.

Wow, ND72 thanks for the details. I'm really liking what I'm hearing from TC this year. I'm glad Woodson and the others aren't going easy on our offense. I saw the picture of his diving interception in front of jennings and figured that there are maybe two other guys in the league who could have gotten that ball. It's great training for Rodgers to deal with defensive backs of that caliber.

Also, I feel for Humphrey. To have just made it back from injury and have Bigby almost tear you in two.... that had to have freaked him out. Gotta love Atari.

                        Also, congrats on the helmet.

I'm afraid he might follow the path of my buddy Atlas Herrion!

                            More info like this.

                            Less info like Brett.

                            Thanks.

OH...almost forgot. Saw the FUNNIEST drill I've ever seen in my life. Offensive Lineman. they put a football on a big mat, then they put all the other free pads/dummies they had near by...4 lineman at a time, laying on their backs, helmet toward the mat....had to dig through and find the ball, other 3 did 5 pushups for "losing"...it was seriously hilarious to watch, but also, had to be tough to do (as in tiring).
