I could see Favre setting up an exit strategy. At the very least, he's setting up an excuse.


Favre is all about himself. If that team starts going down, Favre will not go down sticking with his guys. He will not go down with dignity. He will become a cancer. He will quit on that team.

Right now, the only thing saving Favre from total disaster is the Vikings DL and AP staying healthy. Gus Frerotte is good enough to lead that team to the playoffs. If Favre as good as Frerotte though? We'll find out.
