I haven't any respect for Favre the person. None.

Favre the football player is doing some amazing things this year. Amazing.

His quickness in the pocket, his decision making, his ability to control the defense with looks and pump fakes are amazing. Beyond AD/AP's influence, I think there may be some chemistry between Bevel and Favre as well, with Bevel skillfully playing up Favre's strengths.

Favre is also so single-minded right now. He went from Terry Bradshaw to Peyton Manning in one season, showing tremendous effort in shaping teamwork and communication with Viking receivers.

Right now, I wouldn't root against him if he took the Vikes to the Big Game.

But then the ungrateful sonuvagun can go into the Hall of Fame as a Viking. Screw him. Why did he never give us that commitment?

It's a little early to be thinking Favre for MVP but he sure is getting all he needs together to get that award.

He started off this season slow in the first two games. Learning the offense and getting his communication up with his receivers. With that accomplished he's playing as well as he ever has or he's playing outstanding football.

He leads the NFL in QBR @ 107.5. He has 2269 Yards passing and looking decent for another 4K yard season. He has 17 TD pass's and only 3 picks and a 8 W - 1L record **. Great numbers and he's definitely all commited and a dedicated leader on his team.

Will he be the MVP? We'll see.

Brett Favre has been 30 W and 11 L over the past three seasons. Lots of football remaining in this man.
