When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less. I meant by "ostentatiousness" that we've had enough of that subject, and it would be just as well if you'd mention what you mean to do next, as I suppose you don't mean to stop here all the rest of your life.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Swede is not known for his cloying panoply of pleonastics; at least not in a nefarious manner. He comes across rather, well, phlegmatic.
As for this topic of Favre, a little vergangenheitsbewältigung I think is in order (now THAT is a pulchritudinous word).
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.
In the future I will keep it tout court. Sorry Hoosier, meant tout court.

If a picture truly equals 1000 words, then this picture - more than any other possibly could - accurately summarizes the contents of this 330+ page thread.
"My problems with him are his vision and tendency to dance instead of pounding a hole." - Harvey Wallbangers
My stomach never feels better until 17 minutes after my third cup of coffee. Unless I eat pancakes, then it's 13 minutes.

I also have a decent set of manners and am of good character Tarlam! I always have tried my very best to reach you as such and I constantly have failed. I don't have excessive pride and always can admit any error as it applys.
In the US we generally find character references more compelling when they come from people other than ourselves. I've never understood why you choose to post this stuff Woody. It reads like a job application.
That's not an attack or anything - just an observation.
Anywho - on to football!
Do you feel the need to help me Scott Campbell? I'll not justify the manner or way I choose to take my position (s). How I choose to respond to anything. I just write honestly.
I know very well who I am and I'm honest with myself. It's my integrity and 'the TRUTH', no matter what anyone may wish to think or challenge me on. I'm honest.
A question just for yourself Scott Campbell? I seek no response. I want this latest attack to go away Scott. It's never fun to have to sustain myself through such abuse. There should never be a place for that sort of thing and the destructiveness of such behaviour.
I challenge anyone in here to determine times when I made ' a first attack ' against any member of Packerrats; and send that info. to the owner of this board. It's not my nature to be an antagonist. Any such accusation is unfair towords me and certainly so in terms of recent history.
Why do/did you feel the need to get involved 'at all' in this attack? .
Secondly: This is a football forum. A Green Bay Packer Forum not a social gathering of the ' YOU Vs anyone else that doesn't act or accept YOU ' SOCIETY.
I've never been a joiner.[/b] There's a club of people inside of Packerrats that I cannot agree with and you are in that group. No disrespect meant, but I seperate from that group.'If I'm not respecxted, so be it. I have to first respect myself. OK.
To elaborate I think for myself and like how that works for me. I think on my own two feet; just don't side with anyone or with any issue. That's what makes me different and gives me the edge that I need.
c) May I add this. Your an American and I'm a Canadian. We'rre different and in somethings/regards, diversely so. We think differently as we're influenced differently culturally and environmentally (ie politically) etc.
d) I never kiss anyone ass Scott. If your right I applaud it. Wrong or twisted or a bully; otherwise oppressive, use power incorrectly or assume power falsely and I oppose you. I don't stand straddling any line. OK
I know your sorry you asked ! Good !!!
Otherwise Scott have a nice day and a great weekend. I mean that sincerely, Ed. woodbuck27

I don't need 1000 words to describe this thread when I can just use clusterfuck and be done with it.
clusterfuck ... mmmm ... is that in your Webster's dictionary. MJZiggy?
Long live the character and quality of ' the man ' I've come to observe, enjoy and appreciate inspite of any flaws and respectfully deserved or otherwise criticisms in Brett Favre. A man I respect as an outstanding Pro athlete and person who does his best to serve his personal needs and values as an NFL QB of distinction and immense talent.
Long live ' this thread ', that is, and remains a tribute to his outstanding contributions to ' the Green Bay Packers ' when he was our QB and ' a leader ' of distinction among his peers yesterday and today.
The bottom line. We have to defeat Brett Favre and his team to advance ' the Packer ' cause and ideal goal. To get to and win a Super Bowl and hopefully so, while Brett Favre is still in the NFL.

We all are what we are. We will all live and die. Judgment, be it one way or the other, doesn't change or even put in perspective the realities that are so simple they can't be put in words. We just are.
You don't appear to be at peace Woodbuck. Peacefulness feels good.
