I noted the date of the Brett Favre Green Bay Packer HOF induction banquet. OK here:

I've read of plans to honor Favre during some game

I thought (imagined) that Favre's number '4' retirement ceremony would 'in fact' be on some game day @ Lambeau Field...next season. I'm aware that is Brett Favre's wish so as many fans as desired might have a chance to be there for that big day.:

Well, as far as that goes, his number has been retired since they announced that White's would be and Harlan declared Favre's would be, too. The only significant thing yet to do for that is the unveiling in the stadium. I don't see the Packer HOF ceremony as adding much to the number retirement storyline.

At some Packer home game have the ceremony to retire his and Reggie White's number.

Favre stuck it to Packer fans maneuvering into the Vikings spot, but god love 'em, he gave so many years of great exciting football, I will love the guy forever. If the Vikes had won a SB, maybe I would not be so generous, but now, that's all water under the bridge and all I can see are those great TD passes the 36 yard run for a TD versus Chicago in the rain in '94, "He dives into the end zone at County Stadium (I was there!). Yeeha, Go Bert!
