Who do you see bashing Brett Favre here? It's disappointment you're looking at, his chances of returning to football diminish each day !!
Is it really a halo or
just a swelled head ?

Now Favre was unquestionably a very good football player during his time in Green Bay, but anybody who thinks that he was unquestionably the greatest Packer ever really needs to learn their history. There were a lot of great football players in the pre-Favre days in this town, some all time greats even.Originally posted by PackerarcherI really don't understand the Favre bashers on here. We have a lot of old people on this forum.Originally posted by PackerarcherI wouldn't be calling me out about my Packer history,I have been a Packer fan longer than the majority on this forum have been alive."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Then what makes Favre a better player for the Packers than, say, Don Hutson? Tony Canadeo? Ray Nitschke? What separates Favre from those greats and puts him at the very top?Originally posted by PackerarcherI wouldn't be calling me out about my Packer history,I have been a Packer fan longer than the majority on this forum have been alive.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

Way to attack Lurker!!

Do you know the average age or age ranges on this website? And if yes, how are you mining all of our personal data? But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Indefinitely. You forget, he's the best player we've EVER had. That's a lot of success to be overshadowed by something as silly as vengence. Favre has earned the right to act this way to get his revenge. How does one earn the right to act this way? Why, by being a good football player, of course. If Jason Hunter or KGB vowed revenge against the Packers, no Packer fan in their right mind would support that. But this isn't Jason Hunter or KGB. It's BRETT FAVRE. He gets a special exemption, because he was a pretty good football player.Originally posted by Bossman641For the Favre crowd, how long do his past accomplishments overshadow and excuse his current behavior?
Anyone know where a Packer fan could go to buy a Brett Favre the Viking fathead to plaster on his Packer room wall?

Just what about his "current behavior" is there to excuse? The man wants to play football, and is still better than 90% of the starting QB's in the NFL. Don't get me wrong,I very strongly dislike the Vikes. I have lived most of my life on the Wi side of the Twin Cities metro, and all I hear is Viking crap. BUT I love to watch old #4 play the game, and since the Packers seem to think they are better off without him. I will root for him where ever he plays,EXCEPT when they play the Pack. However I will not wish him to be hurt as some on this forum have, that imo shows immaturity.Originally posted by Bossman641For the Favre crowd, how long do his past accomplishments overshadow and excuse his current behavior?

exactly what he said.. I haven't seen this many cry babies in a long, long time.
Bossman, if hes so washed up.. why the fuck do you even care if he plays for the Vikes? Is that too much for your fragile emotional state about Favre? Jeeze man, hes gonna play in a different uni.. big deal. Root for the pack, boo who you want.. but who the fuck cares if hes there.. I mean the man is 40, he sucks right? He'll collapse the 2nd half of the season right? So why aren't we wanting him to go there? Oh its because Packer fans are fuckin cry babies and want the best of both worlds.. talk about a bunch of douches

So that would mean that he is better than 28 of the other 31 starting QBs in the league. I can name 7-10 starters I would pick any day over Favre at 39 years old.Originally posted by PackerarcherThe man wants to play football, and is still better than 90% of the starting QB's in the NFL.But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
