Because BF at 10% is better than anyone the Vikings have currently. Ergo, it makes them a better team. This should not be difficult to grasp.Originally posted by Pacopete4Originally posted by PackerarcherJust what about his "current behavior" is there to excuse? BUT I love to watch old #4 play the game, and since the Packers seem to think they are better off without him. I will root for him where ever he plays,EXCEPT when they play the Pack. exactly what he said.. I haven't seen this many cry babies in a long, long time.
Bossman, if hes so washed up.. why the fuck do you even care if he plays for the Vikes? Is that too much for your fragile emotional state about Favre? Jeeze man, hes gonna play in a different uni.. big deal. Root for the pack, boo who you want.. but who the fuck cares if hes there.. I mean the man is 40, he sucks right? He'll collapse the 2nd half of the season right? So why aren't we wanting him to go there? Oh its because Packer fans are fuckin cry babies and want the best of both worlds.. talk about a bunch of douches

Look, I loved Favre the Packer. It was amazing what he did here. But the flip side of your arguement can be made last year. If Brett had honestly assessed the condition of his arm he would have let Clemens start the last 5 games and the Jets would have probably made the playoffs. Instead, he had the "streak" to keep going and severely hurt his teams performance.Originally posted by PackerarcherOf those 7 to 10 how many can you almost gaurentee to start EVERY FUCKING GAME. Yes, he can do whatever he wants to do. And I can hate him for it, because I feel his justification for doing what he's doing is petty and childish. I can do that. Why don't you try growing up and realize that I have that right.Originally posted by Pacopete4Originally posted by GunakorIndefinitely. You forget, he's the best player we've EVER had. Why, by being a good football player, of course. If Jason Hunter or KGB vowed revenge against the Packers, no Packer fan in their right mind would support that. But this isn't Jason Hunter or KGB. Anyone know where a Packer fan could go to buy a Brett Favre the Viking fathead to plaster on his Packer room wall?

I don't care if he plays for the Vikings anymore. I didn't want him to play for the Vikings originally because I wanted to remember him as the Packers QB and a Packer great. I didn't want to go through another offseason of this shit and a season of the back and forth. Selfish of me I guess, but I wanted to think of him as a Packer. Far, far down my list of why I didn't want him to play for the Vikings was because he's improvement for them. I think he's done. I don't think the Vikings win the Super Bowl with or without Favre.
He can play for the Vikings if he wants, and I will boo him louder than any player the Packers have faced. He's dead to me if he plays for the Vikings. His choice to play, my choice to boo. I don't need people here telling me I can't boo him, or shouldn't boo him, or should respect him, or cheer him because of what he has done and how he's owed it.
In trying to get his revenge on TT, Favre is also turning his back on the rest of the organization and Packer fans. Again, that's his decision but you can't blame people for being disgusted by it.Go PACK

Stop making this about football and you'll see why we feel the way we do. It has nothing to do with Brett Favre the football player. It has everything to do with petty vengence. When he lets it go, we will. That I can guarantee.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

No, apparently we can't. Don't forget, Favre was the best player we've EVER had. He gets his exemptions from criticizm, both for his play on the field and for his behavior off of it, because he was the best EVER. He is incapable of doing wrong. He just is. And we need to respect that. If we disagree with anything the man says or does, we are wrong. Get used to it.Originally posted by Bossman641Exactly!Yes, he can do whatever he wants to do. 2. Of course he can play for the Vikings. Not a problem. That not the issue which you clearly don't get. The point I think that Gunakor is trying to make is that some fans(as you have repeatedly done) excuse the childsh, immature, unprofessional, and bush league behavior and continue to play the "You can't hate on Brett Favre becuase of what he has done for 16 years" card, basically refusing to see anything wrong with the way Brett acted. Also, the fact is is that the only reason Brett really wants to comeback is to play for the Vikings so in his warped mind "can kick Thompson's ass", which by an extension means he wants to kick the Green Bay Packers ass. Do you actually think people are going to be happy that a guy who played for their team for 16 years and once talkked about never play for any other team, now wants to play for the sworn enemy just becuase he is bitter? If he was just coming back for the love of the game, we are having a whole different conversation. But, thats not the way Favre rolls right now.
It should be also pointed out that if those that feel betrayed are to move on, then those that rubbed Favre's success last year, and potentially this year, in other Packer fans faces need to stop and move on. Those that continually trashed TT becuase Favre no longer wears the green and gold, need to stop and move on(I am looking at you). The people who trash Arron Rodgers because they blame him for Favre no longer being in GB have to stop and move on(The scrimmage game is a good illustration).
People are going to be angry for a long time. Favre is no longer a beloved by the majority figure(70% favor the Packers in this situation last poll) anymore. If you don't like it, That's your problem to deal wiith.

I posted an example of this in another thread. In my example, Minnesota turns down Favre, instead electing to go with a younger Sage Rosenfels at QB this season.Originally posted by cpk1994If he was just coming back for the love of the game, we are having a whole different conversation. But, thats not the way Favre rolls right now.
Now, is Favre's desire to play another season of NFL football great enough that he'd call another team inquiring about an open QB position? Is his desire to play football enough for him to play for a team that doesn't play the Packers this season, as long as he could play football for someone?
This is not a rhetorical question! I want one of Favre's biggest supporters, such as Paco or Mobb, to answer that question as honestly as they can. If you are honest with yourself in answering that question, you'll come to understand where the anger and the hatred is coming from. Even if you don't agree.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow
