Well if McCarthy wants to be like Andy Reid maybe he should get a RB who is a threat out of the backfield and start running some damn screen plays.

I think the difference is those teams don't give up 30 sacks in 7 games. We have to have a threat of run to keep the pass rush down. Those early drives where we threw 3 incomplete passes and punt should have had some runs mixed in. The way it's going it might not have mattered but I think it could have prevented a potential snowball.

The way the vikes defense is getting to a-rod, he'll be in there as the starter before long. We've dodged many a bullet so far with him getting sacked as much as he's been.

The downfall started from that ridiculous headbutt from Jolly!!

That was bad no doubt. However, gaining no yards and settling for a FG after a gift fumble at the 21 set the tone for offensive malaise.

No doubt that was another lost opportunity that we will never get back.
