  • Official Packers vs Bears Thread

Just wanteed to get this started a couple of days early, as I have to work all weekend and don't want to jinx anything by possibly not making it in time.
However, I truly believe this team is coming together and can confidently beat the lesser teams in the NFL. Thats not a swipe at the Bears but they do have their own problems and really shouldn't give this emerging Packer team too much of a scare. It is a divisional game at their house tho... Nothing would surprise me....I hope we do not take a step backwards.

Gex, out of curiousity, has you stance towards TT softened a bit as Aaron has shown that he's a possible worthy successor to Favre?

Yes, we should beat the Bears, but when it comes to division games....all paper stats are thrown out the window.

      Anyone going to this game?

            I'm going!!!

Really excited about going too. Great seats....row 3 in the endzone! I've never been to an away Packer game.

Was at a game at Soldier Field many years ago but the Packers weren't playing. Only went because it was free and we had Club House seating. lol

"At least Green Bay has a QB!"
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

                  Here's a clever one:

                  "Bears Suck!"
"The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Actually, SC's idea was best. A sign that says 'We Love Jay" except, while wearing a Packer's jersey.

We had a 3x4=12 sign (and we had three people in Favre Jerseys and one in a Rodgers jersey). But I would guess as an FF, you wouldn't go for that one!

Soldier Field can get nasty. Saw the 40-28 Packer victory in 1989 and almost got the shit beaten out. I kept saying during the game: "I think they should look at the instant replay to see if he was inbounds, etc." or "I don't think you could change the outcome of this game with 20 instant replays all in Chicago's favor.

                      LOL LOL Love Chicago!"

                            Hester may be out.
The Chicago Tribune wrote in this morning's paper that Devin Hester would miss Sunday's game against the Packers if he sat out another practice Friday.

Hester returning punts is the Bears best shot at an upset.
