  • I don't know if he can fill the role of OLB, but George Selve of South Florida would make an interesting pick with the next pick we make. He definitely has rush skills, but I don't know if he can play in space like an OLB does.

    • Maybe because Finley is an injury concern, Lee tailed off and Hayvner has the legal issues...you HAVE to have a good TE in our offense
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

        Green Bay must be up
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

          • Kiper and McShay love Quarles -- a first round talent with questionable work ethic. Sound familiar?

Another late round gem. The Packers have plenty of playmakers. Lets hope the line gels.

So, what did he mean? Is there a rumor we are trading for a Tampa LB?
I haven't heard anything about this from any of my sources..
Don't let this rumor spread. Mort saw that the Pack picked Quarless and said "Did you see the Pack just got Shelton Quarles".

I thought it was funny, so I posted it, but I guess I posted in the wrong fashion

couple highlights of Quarless in this local (college) news production ..

guy looks like j mike no joke... they are talking about how he can get split out.
The commentator said "with a good senior season, Quarless could be the first TE taken in the 2010 draft."

                    • I'd take Tony Pike. QB out of Cincinnatti

He just needs a couple years of feeding up.

He's tall productive, makes the throws.

                          • Interesting. Raiders get Campbell for a 4th rounder in 2012.

                            • I'm intrigued by this guy. Just in the small clip I saw, he looks like a little more of a body catcher than Finley, but physically, this guy is a hell of an athlete just like Finley.

Second, what's wrong with someone to push Donald Lee?

And what must Teddy think of Brad Jones, then?
i think ted knows he found a gem in brad jones last year

many on here seem to think he has to be replaced, but IMO he played pretty damn good for a rookie last year

i see no reason to look for an upgrade unless its a truly special prospect like hughes, graham or kindle
