It was a boom or bust kind of pick. Sounds like Bedard was kosher with it...steallar talent if he has his head on straight. Worth a shot when the talent had been drained pretty clean at our needs.

Moats I think is still on the board. Still would like him here but my guess is TT drafts somebody we haven't heard of again. And that's doesn't mean it's bad

Kiper and McShay love Quarles -- a first round talent with questionable work ethic. Sound familiar?

Another late round gem. The Packers have plenty of playmakers. Lets hope the line gels.

those little highlights they showed he looks like more of a playmaker than lee for sure .. same build as finley (little shorter)

Reminds of Keith Jackson. Off the field issues dropped him. Appears those issues are done. Does not appear to be another Jolly.

couple highlights of Quarless in this local (college) news production ..

guy looks like j mike no joke... they are talking about how he can get split out.

The commentator said "with a good senior season, Quarless could be the first TE taken in the 2010 draft."

First of all, it's a fifth round pick. Everybody picked in a fifth round is going to have some perceived flaws.

Second, what's wrong with someone to push Donald Lee?

And what must Teddy think of Brad Jones, then?

i think ted knows he found a gem in brad jones last year

many on here seem to think he has to be replaced, but IMO he played pretty damn good for a rookie last year

i see no reason to look for an upgrade unless its a truly special prospect like hughes, graham or kindle

i see jones being stand out next year ... not matthews standout, but he'll definitely progress. im not as concerned as some but a late round flyer (another jones ?) would be fine at OLB.

i like the idea of some small school offensive weapons now.. some speed. i like the TE pick, let's see that WR or a RB.
