Do you really believe he'll come back just for the $13 Million$. I don't think it will be about money. That man has to be filthy rich. He doesn't have any vices. Doesn't even drink beer.

Now will he stay retired? He'll watch the vikings first two pre-season games and really determine his position based on factors he'll have already determined. It's just a wait and see situation again.

i have yet to see even a single teammate identified and confirmed as having received the 'i am done' texts. those seemed to have vanished as Ron Wolf once said like a fart in the wind. i think #4 is sitting back and loving the mess he may or may not have created again, and again, and again. or the fucker is in Sears still looking at TVs.

A "family source" tells the Biloxi (MS) Sun Herald that Brett Favre has not decided whether to play football in 2010.

The report comes from the Herald's Al Jones, who often breaks the most crucial Favre news. "Brett has not made a commitment to play or a decision to return at this point," said the source, presumably a close family member. Meanwhile, rumors continue to circulate that Favre is making a power play for more money. Favre's former Packers teammate LeRoy Butler told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that he recently heard Favre wanted a new three-year contract from the Vikings worth $13 million annually. If Butler's story is true, Favre not only wants to play in 2010. He wants to play in 2012 and 2013, too.

                  Yeah, Skin.

Shame on you, but not for this Favre thing, just shame in general.

When you look at it, he's rewinding the whole saga from last year. He's slinging the ball all over the place to high school kids. His arm looks OK and he can move pretty good. No way he's quitting when he can still play at the high level.

Then, he says he's hanging it up. The whole planet jumps on this and the media sharks feed. Now, when he comes back, everybody welcomes him with open arms and the boys are glad to see him back. He's avoided camp and gets what he wants. No camp and a bunch of glory.

He's a Huck Finn forever and always gets what he wants. I don't hate him, but man, am I sick of his goofy, hillbilly act.

The end is supposed to be in December, so we'll know way before then if he is playing. Perhaps these legends were just MOBB time traveling and saying that the world ends in 2012 because Favre retires.

Depends on how badly the world wants him to play that game and how much it will beg him.

I'm not sure it's possible to be any more pathetic of an organization. Little wonder the megalomaniac chose them to make a mockery of.
