Very surprising. I thought as a game day 45 he was extremely valuable, ST, TE, LB.

All indications are that undrafted rookie OL Nick McDonald has made the 53-man roster. A lot of teams were interested in him based on his play in preseason games and the Packers apparently aren't willing to trade or cut him. Not sure what that means for Dietrich-Smith.

Well I had converted it to a #41 Havner, but that's shot all to hell.

Wow, I don't recall seeing this guy play.

I don't understand it at all. Havner has been a solid player for the Packers. He can intercept a pass or score a freakin TD as a TE...I'm pissed.
Yeah, but if we have guys on either side of the ball who can do the same things, he is expendable...

                      Havner > Crabtree and Quarless

Which pretty much means he's playing well.

Surprised by the move, but Havner is a terrible blocker and not nearly as talented as Quarless at TE.

I've had the feeling the Packers are in love with Crabtree. Havner seemed like a more likely cut to me.

McDonald is a shocker. Gotta hope we trade Spitz. He's the guy who might fetch us a nickle CB.
