Best halfway record under M3. They've been humbled by injuries and some early losses and now seem to be playing better ball. If they continue to limit penalties and win the TO battle, they'll win 10 games.
Dude, don't write off the Lions. Getting scary.

I see where you're getting that because of the quoting but I didn't mean to write off the Lions. They could be one of the 3 losses in the second half. Suh is one of my favorite players and I've been a big fan of his since he dominated CU while playing for the Huskers.

I was just saying that the Packers will win 10 games if they win the turnover margin and limit penalties.

              • This was the first shutout of the NFL season (if Waldo is right). That's pretty remarkable.

                • Great game by the Packers today...got fortunate several times on favorable calls from the zebras, but we were due after being screwed over a couple times previously this year. It all does usually balance out in the end.

The Jets really had to be disappointing to their fans today. 2 weeks to prepare, and they laid a massive goose egg on the scoreboard in their own crib. The fake punt was a very strange call in that position so early in the game. The Jets dropped more passes than we did, which is saying something at this point.

That we were able to do this and give guys like Pickett another week of rest is huge. If we can hold off the Cowboys and get a few more bodies back to 100% during the bye week, this team has a reasonable shot at winning the division.

                  • McCarthy is on fire with challenges.

Both new linebackers seemed to fit in. One was playing OK at OLB, the other looked even better on Special Teams.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I needed this. Thanks Fritz! I just wish the Boyz would have won today. Would have taken some pressure of for next week.

But, I'll do the same ritual to keep the Karma going.

Get laid, buy a couple of new sweaters, keep off the scotch, pay some bills, start a couple of threads. PR can count on me!!!

Great job so far Tarlam! Keep it up next week! Though i've got a feeling we will lose again. Nothing is a given with this team.

thanks for keeping the score to yourselves while i watched the game.

as a side note, other than missing all the rest of the games yesterday, watching a game on DVR is the best way to watch a game. i never had to listen to those morons who were calling the game.

If you are referring to the 2 INT. Then your wrong the refs got it right.

They explained it during the broadcast.

It is just like a normal reception where the receiver has to maintain possession through the entire catch. In cases with simultaneous possession the same rule applies. If the ball comes out in that process, and the defender maintains possession, it is then an INT. In both cases the ball was yanked out before the process was completed. If the receiver and defender both maintain control through the catch, the tie goes to the receiver.

                              • On Tramon's INT, he had the ball in his arm like a running back or anyone else running with the ball would hold it. Just because the receiver latches onto it does not mean he has it or that it is even a tie. That call was totally correct.

On Woodson's INT, you could see when the receiver hit the ground that the ball was still moving around on top of him. Woodson did the right thing by grabbing the ball. Great plays by the Packers.
