  • So now we trade up to take Reed
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

    • Not bad!
Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

                  • I picked Sherrod in the mock...for Hoody.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

                    • Better concussion protection than any helmet can provide.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Calm down Tony. Colledge could leave and Bulaga might go LG for a year to get the footwork down on the left side.

                            • Sherrod didn't come from a pro-style system. Most high picked lineman come from schools where there isn't so much projection. I don't want to say he's a project, but like Gruden said, he doesn't share their vision, but he does have size and athletic ability. . . .

TT and company do their homework. This guy has LT feet. It will be interesting to see how he pans out. He wasn't as proven as the other guys.

                              • I'm ok with it. That was my couch prediction once we finally got to 32. Very safe, smart, not-very-exciting pick.

It's nice to finally have a black o-linemen for racial equality's sake.
