Damn how could we forget! Bretsky would be the best poster to field these questions.

Sounds like KYPack has heard the Legend of Bretsky.

It's possibly the worst strip club in the history of the world. The only decent one in the area is bean snappers, about 30 miles south of GB.

I spent the first 18 years of my life in GB and while I don't make it back often anymore, it doesn't change much. For a good burger go to Krolls. Check out Chili Johns, John Madden used to go there every time he was in town. There are a ton of sports bars right around the stadium, to me they're all pretty much the same, nothing special. For upscale dining try Hinterland or Republic Chophouse, or if you want to go old school supper club try Eve's. Virtually every fast food/ chain is located on Oneida street if that's your thing. I guess that was more about food than about things to do, but really, outside of the stadium and going to games there isn't much to do in GB, particularly in the winter.

Fuzzy's bar is on the west side of town and it is a small bar and grill with the walls plastered with Packer memorabilia. It is actually on an access road off W. Mason Street. You might even catch Fuzzy there on game days.

I posted this page because there is a link listing other sports bars in Green Bay there. Don't forget to go to Curly's inside Lambeau.

What's this Cheese Castle of which you speak? Sounds like a tourist or those-who-don't know-any-better trap to me. Like buying your souveniers in an airport. Find a local cheese factory somewhere--you haven't had curds until you've had them fresh and still warm! I don't know the eastern corridor, but if you get to central WI I could suggest several. Top quality all around, and usually cheaper than the grocery stores!

Titletown Brewing and Hinterland Brewing aren't bad watering holes near downtown. Pre/Post game though have to do Kroll's West (although some I know are partial to Stadium View). One place I have yet to check out though is the Twisted Kilt (Ashwaubenon) and fairly close to the airport. Maybe others can comment on that place but I've heard good things.

I cant say it was or wasnt but I thought it was cool. Based on ARan's rating system these must have been good cuz the loud squeaking was there. Not warm but they couldnt have been too far off. I got 2LBs like I was Sam Hurd. One was just regular and one had jalapenos. Both where excellent and I ate most of each. Then not too long after ate the burger. Then not too long after that I got twisted in GB.

It was near the highway in Milwaukeee right after crossing the state line I think. The place looked like it had been there for a long time.

Spaulding: I think you're thinking of "tilted kilt" it's a chain and it's just off of Oneida street with all the other chains, probably about 2 miles from the airport just off of Hwy-172.

Mars cheese castle is indeed a tourist trap located around Kenosha.

It's near Racine (south of). When my family and I were supposed to move there in 2005, I took them. It is a bit touristy. Have not seen the revamped version.

But to be honest, my wife and I were quite disappointed by the considerabley poor quality and selection of cheeses in Wisconsin. In our local supermarket, we can select from nearly 300 different varieties of cheese. I guess that's because where I live, transport for those wonderful regional cheeses here in Europe is so easy.

But, we did try cheese curds!

Plan to get lunch in Milwaukee at Jakes. Its off the highway and will take some time to get to, but its worth the trip. I rearrange my work travel schedule to hit this place for lunch.

As my work colleague attests: "Best Corned Beef I have ever had. Pastrami is excellent as well. Probably a 2 sandwich visit. Its a tough neighborhood, but have never felt threatened there."

You might be the only light skinned person walking on the sidewalk to the restaurant depending on time of day. But its worth temporary minority status to have those sandwiches. There is parking right on the street. Heaven.

Also suggested by 40 year veteran of WI fish frys is Mackinaw’s Grill & Spirits near Green Bay. It is just down the street from County Inn & Suites off of East Mason St. (Interstate 43 - the exit before the UWGB exit). It looks like it could be a chain and you wouldn't expect anything spectacular but two people at work claim its among the best fish they have ever had. If you aren't there on Friday, they also serve the fish as a regular dinner/sandwich. I have had it and its very good, though I cannot claim to be an expert on fish frys.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
