But we weren't even supposed to win-- we didnt even try according to one poster! I guess you could just call me the Matt Flynn of gamethread starting; Bretsky is Rodgers (or Favre if he wants), of course.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostHaha! You tell him! Tripping if he thinks he gets a pat on the back for that. Just means he wasnt a one hit wonder.

I'm just going to keep predicting big rushing games and we should be OK.

Lol I'm just being a wise ass. I don't believe in me either... told my wife before the game that it was fun while it lasted. Of course she just said not to worry cuz we'll blow em out 70-2 like she always does.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostDont feel bad we dont doubt you we just dont believe in you yet.

Listen, Tony, you need to make this into a ritual! One that lasts the SB and sees you stating the "Holy Thread" until at least Week 1 next season.Originally posted by mission View PostBut we weren't even supposed to win-- we didnt even try according to one poster! if the packers lose in the playoffs it will be because of me (I'll take the heat mission). I'm heading on vacation in two weeks. I will be gone for both playoff games. I am vacationing with a couple that I have vowed to never watch another playoff game with. both previous times the pack lost. one of the games was the 4th and 26 game. its gonna be tough to avoid them for both playoff games.Originally posted by Tarlam! Probably takes a GM on the other team who knows the player well, as with KC and NE. Seattle comes to mind for Flynn. Both very good posts, I posted the response here in Harlan's thread. http://packerrats.com/showthread.php...l=1#post644516Originally posted by Lurker64 View PostCassell got packaged with a player (Mike Vrabel) so if you try to tag and trade Flynn, you might have to package a player.
Perhaps Matt Flynn and A.J. Hawk to Seattle for a 1 and a 4?Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I guessed Seattle too, but what is their pick status? Might they try to jump up to get one of the first two or three QBs?Originally posted by Patler View PostNE franchised Cassel for $14.5 million. I like the thought but Hawk has had an awful year this year.Originally posted by Lurker64 View PostCassell got packaged with a player (Mike Vrabel) so if you try to tag and trade Flynn, you might have to package a player.
Perhaps Matt Flynn and A.J. Hawk to Seattle for a 1 and a 4?But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Probably takes a GM on the other team who knows the player well, as with KC and NE. Seattle comes to mind for Flynn.Seattle is tied with KC for spots 11 and 12, so that is a real possibility. On the other hand, most trades for high draft picks happen on draft day, or very shortly before. The teams that hold the picks figure the value will only go up as draft day approaches. A tag and trade of Flynn would happen earlier, so unless Seattle is sure they can work out a trade to move up, it might be worth it to them to secure Flynn with a second or third round pick.Originally posted by pbmax View PostI guessed Seattle too, but what is their pick status? Even a third round pick this year from Seattle would be significantly better than the best compensatory pick GB could hope for, which would be the 33rd pick in the third round of the 2013 draft.
