It seemed like there were a lot of plays where Arod had plenty of time that did not result in a completion. Was Arod looking downfield and passing up the underneath stuff (Sometimes his greatest weakness, in my opinion), or was there really just no one open?I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

Whatever went wrong between ARod and Finley on 3rd and 5 was compounded by the fact that he threw the ball a lot harder than he needed to. Batting practice tempo would have been sufficient. My uneducated opinion is to split the blame: give 65% to ARod, 35% to Finley.

Did anyone notice Stark's poor play? He half-assed a blitz pickup (4th and 5 after Arod and Finley failed to hook up?), he seemed to go the wrong way or be a step slow on that play when ARod ran a keeper, and he failed to come up with the screen pass that ARod overthrew ever so slightly. I thought Grant looked great on the first play, and was surprised not to see MM go back to him. Even more so when Starks started showing up in all the wrong ways.

So some have blamed the o, others the d and some special teams. The real culprit is none other than Bretsky with his undefeated talk in the KC game day thread not only flaunting the whammy but angering it.
Damn you B, damn you.
Also I will blame GBGary a little. All tyrannies rule through fraud and force, but once the fraud is exposed they must rely exclusively on force.

I think what was happening was that Arod was getting frustrated with all the drops and started trying to force the ball alot. Also he started to put everything on his shoulders just like another QB that we used to have and thats when things started really going bad on the offense you could see it he was not playing like himself at all.
