so now the broncos are gonna win the super bowl. didn't the colts just cut him a week ago because no one knows if he's evn going to be able to play again. i mean, sure he's throwing ok. can he throw everyday for about 8 months? can he survive a hit without turning into a vegetable?Comment

"The Broncos have the unilateral right to drop Manning before the end of the 2012, 2014, or 2015 league year and avoid the remaining $78 million, $38 million, or $19 million, respectively. And if Manning suffers another neck injury during the 2013 season, the deal can be capped at two years and $38 million."

A little bump bump here to a funny story.
Pete Carroll stepped on his dick when the Seahawks tried to sign Peyton Manning.
Carrol and the Hawk GM tried a bold move which blew up in their faces.
Manning got a call informing him that Seahawks coach Pete Carroll had flown, unannounced, with Seattle G.M. John Schneider to the airport in Englewood. Carroll would do whatever Manning wanted—talk for a while in Denver or on the plane to Arizona, his next visit, or fly him to Seattle for a lengthier discussion.
Peyton Manning does not like surprises. He said no thanks. Carroll flew home.

I feel for Schneider in all of this mess. He gets hired as GM...but wait, the ownership then foists Penis Carroll on him, and gives the Penis decision-making ability, so Schneider is more like an assistant GM. And if Carroll fucks this gig up, which he is doing superbly so far, then Schneider's rep goes downhill, too.
The best thing to do would be for Schneider to step on the Penis, hard, then lock him in a closet for the entire offseason, letting him out only for the OTA's.
