If Kalil is all that and a bag of chips at LT, you take him, no question. Second most important position on a team, and probably the one that can do the most damage if not properly manned.

I think LT's at the top of the draft tend to be more sure bets as well? Of course, there's always the Robert Gallery's of the world - he wasn't a flop, but wasn't the 'plug and play at LT for 10 years' he was supposed to be.

It's this seemingly menial dtuff to some Packer fans that intrigues me as an NFL fan. I love the Packers and have for over 50 years; but more and more I enjoy the NFL overall. It's becoming all very interestinfg to me as an amatuer or wanna be NFL anayst. It gives me some edge in the PRO Pickem' challenge each season. To have a more solid understanding of what all teams are in terms of strength and how exactly they got there.

I trust that others here at Packerrats may think along the same lines. Any NFL news is good news. It's alot like the newspaper.

Some folks dig right into municiple or regional political news. Others love anything having to do with entertainment; maybe for some it's the Sports Section and the Comics. While others eat into the Classifieds. We're all different and as a Packerrat contributor I put in my personal time to give all readers here a smorgasborg of NFL information. A poster can take what he/she needs from it all. Some here will scream and shout at my efforts. (-:

It was just my personal thoughts. I have mostly stopped reading your external-link posts because, IMHO, the sheer quantity of links has watered-down the quality. I can easily scroll past them if I don't feel like reading them so it is not a big deal.

Ok Woody let us have words. I know you are no fool and read other sections of the forum. There is a thread in the RR directly expessing concern about this issue. If it was just one poster crying I would say "too bad, so sad" as you did. But it is several and as a community people are feeling that threads are being disrupted. After further review I have to agree. I see threads with links not relevant to the current conversation. This are messing with the flow of discussion and ultimately that's is what we are here to do.

Mad Please read my entire response (s) to sharpe1027 and in all cases I'am certainly polite and not just casting off any form of complaint . I explain why I post as I do. I just receivedthe same sort of response from Cheesehead Craig. Again I honestly explain my reasoning behind certain posts and my reasoning for depositing posts on two threads. If that is judged unacceptable I certainly won't do that anymore.

I reiterate when posters go on the woodbuck27 attack. IMO and certainly from a personal standpoint of my membershipm here and attempts to contribute by far a positive . It's too bad ...so sad. I reiterate this FACT. I'm NOT aware of any concerted efforts Vs me. Unless you instruct me to. I will not even go to RR to view such behaviour if that 'in fact' exists.

I'll add this as some help I trust for you Mad. I'm not a member of Packerrats bent on making posters unhappy or 'to get bent out of shape' over my endeavours to be a solid contributor here. I try my best to post decent material. To overall contibute interesting material to Packerrats. I love this forum. I always have tried to be a member in good standing here.

When I have had to defend certain positions I've taken I don't aim to hurt anyone in the course of debate. I cannot account for the sensativities or ego needs of certain members here all of the time. I take no satisfaction in insulting a member or in any other manner upseting members. I won't always succeed in that ideal. I'm human and error.

The bottom line is Packerrats health and well being.

It does me 'no good' to become acquainted with anyone here that aims to harm me...undermine my membership. That would disagree with my sense of personal integrity and common sense.

Why don't people irked with that thread just stop reading it ?
If they stop reading that thread and Woody happens to doublepost then they don't even notice
I enjoy the thread content because it allows me to keep up.

I have a distaste for FYI and have been irrated when I read the stuff so I don't go threre. EZ Fix
