We're never going to get the guys you claim of waivers. We're at the end of that list. Veterans though, guys who are near the end of their career, maybe got cut because a team is rebuilding, overpaid, didn't fit new system, etc. . . . Several of those guys might want to be in GB. Could even end up with a starter if the right guy gets cut.

Spot on. 26 or 27 teams have to pass on the waived player before we get a chance to sign them.

The Turk is usually an Assistant Coach or go-fer that walks up to the guy and says "Coach wants to see you....and bring your play book".

Honestly, me too; that type of deal works for both sides. Neither has to put in a claim, and we get sombody's best OL cut for our best WR cut
