Bean counters at it everywhere. Checked out the shit Bettman is doing to the NHL lately?Originally posted by King Friday View PostA lot of non-Packer fans are on ESPN sounding off that this was a complete and utter joke. Goodell, a power hungry mogul, is going to ruin this league just as David Stern has ruined the NBA. The NFL has to save a couple bucks on the refs when they make BILLIONS from their product. What a joke.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

Fuck the regular refs. 100k/year min. to 150k and they work 42 days per year. And I can picture those bastards watching this game and laughing, thinking they got the leverage now. Fire em. Hire major college refs now, and fire these idiots we have now. Put somebody in the booth who knows the rules; doesn't have his head up his ass; and can radio down the rules and advice to the new guys.

lol (at the bold part).Originally posted by mraynrand View PostOne thing that I think I can honestly say is that I wouldn't want to be on the other end of this, if the Packers had won like the Seahawks did. I would feel as cheap as when I had to sell my body for college tuition.
I bet if Shield had pushed Tate instead, the replacement refs would've thrown a flag. And these refs were so fucking incompetent, they gave the Seahawks offense a pick-6 on the final play.

Major college refs were told they couldn't work the replacement jobs as well as college by the major conferences. None, to my knowledge, were willing to risk it.Originally posted by cheesner View PostFuck the regular refs. 100k/year min. and they work 42 days per year. Fire em. +1. Every player with integrity (Golden Tate is excluded) should give a fineable quote. See if Goodell will fine the entire league.Originally posted by Bossman641 View PostDid you watch the game? I agree. The players have a stake in this, and the refs are threatening their careers when they lose control of the game and we see player aggression continue to increase as the season wears on.Originally posted by mraynrand View Post+1. Cheap shots like the one we saw on Jennings can end a career. The NFL needs to have refs that players will respect, or the entire product is a joke. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
