Fuck the regular refs. 100k/year min. to 150k and they work 42 days per year. And I can picture those bastards watching this game and laughing, thinking they got the leverage now. Fire em. Major college refs were told they couldn't work the replacement jobs as well as college by the major conferences. None, to my knowledge, were willing to risk it.

I agree. The players have a stake in this, and the refs are threatening their careers when they lose control of the game and we see player aggression continue to increase as the season wears on.

Cheap shots like the one we saw on Jennings can end a career. The NFL needs to have refs that players will respect, or the entire product is a joke.
