Manti Teo's Dead Girlfriend is a hoax

Gene Wojciechowski of ESPN who had interviewed Te'o in October about the story is saying that he had asked Te'o if he would provide pictures of the girl. Te'o said the family would prefer that this not be done.

They're saying there were a number of online characters involved, although it is uncertain whether there were a bunch of people involved, or just 2 people creating characters.
